In 2022, Maine Tourism Association partnered with Simpleview to redesign their website, building on their newly developed brand. The goals of the website redesign were to visually communicate the feeling of traveling to Maine, showcase the best the state has to offer travelers, drive engagement in the organization’s top KPIs, and enhance user experience across all devices.
As the Lead Designer, I translated Maine Tourism Association’s new brand into a cohesive and engaging website design. Collaborating closely with the project Art Director, developers, and the extended project team, I helped develop and implemented the design strategy to ensure alignment with project and client objectives. My primary responsibility was end-to-end design from concept to final implementation, ensuring a seamless user experience that highlights Maine's unique attractions.
The redesigned website successfully extends Maine Tourism Association’s brand, offering a user-friendly and visually appealing platform. Key features like the interactive map, seasonal highlights section, and streamlined booking process enhance user experience, drive room bookings, and promote Maine as a year-round destination.
