Visit Houston Web Design

In 2023, Visit Houston partnered with Simpleview to completely overhaul their website’s look and user experience. The existing site was perceived as visually loud and did not effectively represent Houston as a world-class destination. Additionally, the site’s design and organization made it difficult for users to navigate and find information.

My Role: Lead Designer‍

As the Lead Designer, I spearheaded the transformation of Visit Houston’s website into a clean, modern, and engaging platform. Collaborating closely with the project art director, lead developer and extended project team, I implemented the design strategy. My responsibilities included conducting on-site research in Houston to understand the audience and destination personality, executing the design process from concept to final implementation, and ensuring a seamless user experience that highlights Houston's extensive offerings.
